Even before the ODI series between Sri Lanka and India wrapped up, Sumathipala flown abroad, that’s why he didn’t attend post match ceremony to present trophy to the winning Indian team.
Cricket Age can confirm that he is going to resign in the next SGM, to be held anytime soon.
Mohan De’silva, Sumathipala’s closest aide, to be appointed as the new president of SLC in that SGM.
