Written by Pushpendra Albe

Sri Lanka supporters turned angry by another dismal performance of their team in the third ODI at Pallekele today, as the home team were heading towards another defeat.

Chasing the target of 217, as India needed eight more runs with six wickets in hand, a section of Sri Lanka supporters started to throw bottles into the ground.

The match could resume only after 35 minutes, when match referee Andy Pycropt stormed into Sri Lanka dressing room and had a chat with players.

In the end, India won by six wickets and also took the 3-0 lead in the series as two matches are still remaining.
