Cricket Age Exclusive Part III : Bangladesh must have to pay the price, betrayed BCCI decides

Written by Shreyas Vyas

Bangladesh progress as a cricket playing nation, has been considered one of the best thing in recent times in the world cricket, and one can’t ignore BCCI contribution in it. BCCI always backed Bangladesh cricket, frequently sent their team to play bilateral series, and even invited them for a one off test match last year.

It was a historical moment for Bangladesh cricket, thanks to the caring nature of BCCI, as a big brother. But, when BCCI needed Bangladesh in ICC voting recently, on the new financial model, they backed out. Zimbabwe, West Indies did the same thing.

But, BCCI is most disappointed with Bangladesh, and feeling betrayed.

“it was an big setback for BCCI, because they always supported their cricket” a top official revealed.

“BCCI is feeling betrayed and regardless of who comes in the power in the near future, they have already decided that Bangladesh must have to pay the price for this, along with Zimbabwe and West Indies. Means there will no bilateral series and they are not going to invite them too” he concluded.
