According to reliable sources, Legendary Arvinda De’silva will remain the head of Cricket committee till 1st July, after reports being fluded regarding his resignation from the post, yesterday.
There were reports in Sri Lanka media yesterday, that De’silva stepped down after being snubbed in recent times, from SLC related decisions.
De’silva heads the cricket committee since 2016, the advisory body to SLC on cricket matters.
But, Cricket Age learnt that he will remain in the position till 1st July, as everything has sorted out after a meeting with SLC president Thilanga Sumathipala.
One of the greatest batsman of Sri Lanka cricket history, De’silva is known for his no-nonsense attitude, and hailed by greats like Kumar Sangakkara for his cricket related decisions.
