If Pakistan is a poor team, then what about Australia

Written by Pushpendra Albe

After Pakistan stumbled to 3-0 whitewash against Australia, one of the legend of the game Ian Chappel labeled the touring unit as a “poor team”. And,  if it is not enough,  he even suggested cricket Australia to rethink to invite the Pakistan team in the future.

But, the question emerge, just because Pakistan lost 3-0 in elien conditions, can we labeled them ordinary? How can we forget that it is same team, had been the number one test team in d world,  just few months back.

And,  even Then if we call them “poor” then what about the Australia itself?

Yes,  Pakistan has lost their last 12 test matches in Australia. But,  even Australia has lost their last 9 matches in Asia.  Since 2008, they have won just one test in Asian soil.

So,  by that point of view, we must rate Australia also,  as a poor team. But,  probably not.

In reality, in this era, almost all teams are poor teams, when they travelled abroad. In their favorable conditions,  Pakistan is as strong,  as the Australia in home.

So,  it’s not the time to blame, it’s the time to accept this reality.
