Court Of Appeal Warns Sumathipala Camp For Not Submitting Objections

The Court of appeal, on Monday, sternly warned former Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) president Thilanga Sumathipala Camp for not Submitting the objections for the case by his lawyers, Cricket Age reliably learns.

The Sumathipala Led administration had to leave the SLC on May 31st, after former board secretary Nishantha Ranatunga filed a case against the validity of the election.

According to sources, Sumathipala’s lawyers couldn’t submit the the objection in a hearing took place today. By giving a stern warning, now court has instructed to submit the objections by 5th October.

In addition, the Court of appeal has fixed 30th November, 3rd December and 5th December as next dates for the hearing of the case. In meantime, the court has instructed Sri Lanka Sports Minister Faizer Mustapha to continue with the election process.
