MCC Boys To Play In England

Following Indian cricket team, who are already in England for their one-day and Test matches, the MCC (Mumbai Cricket Club) boys those are mostly under 16 age with few of under-19 years have embarked on a tour to UK where they will be playing nine matches with some of the top clubs /colleges teams, including champion college Eton during their 15-day tour. On day one of this tour which was yesterday They visited and did indoor net practice at historic Lords cricket ground.

The tour is being organised with the support of ex- Surrey cricketer Martin Couch and Ashwani arora. Martin couch is 78 years old and still playing cricket for his club and Ashwani Arora, who has been playing in local clubs there for the last 25 years..

The MCC team is captained by Pratik Mhatre and coached by Ex-Mumbai Ranji player Vinayak Samant and Jwala Singh, the Director of MCC.

The team is: Pratik Mhatre (Captain), Aman Parikh, Sagar Parikh, Prajwal Rai, Araham Jain, Nishant Trivadi, Yash Manwani, Amit Lakhyani, Harsh Bhandari, Pranav Ramchandani, Maanit Rastogi, Parth Samant, Diyan Kubadia and Rujuta Pathak.
