Virat Kohli trains at Lord’s to prepare for the Australia ODI series

Written by Toshi Pawar

Virat Kohli is practicing hard at Lord’s in London in his off season to prepare for the ODI series against Australia. Kohli has been on a break since the completion of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025), having retired from Tests and ODIs. The star batter will now only play ODIs as he’s next set to feature in the three-match ODI series against Australia in October.

Despite being away from the game, Kohli is still regular with his practice sessions to keep himself ready for international commitments. The star batter also posed for photographs with fans outside the training facilities at the Lord’s Stadium.

India are set to take on Australia in three ODIs set to begin from October 19 in Perth. However, in the lead up to the series, there have been speculations around his retirement along with Rohit Sharma. However, the BCCI have quashed such rumours, saying that they’re not in a hurry to take any decision on the future of the batting stalwarts.
