Asia Cup Schedule To Be Announced Over The Weekend, To Start On September 10

Written by Toshi Pawar

In what might end the longstanding deadlock between the participating nations, the 2025 Asia Cup schedule is all set for an imminent release, with less than two months remaining for the continental competition to begin. There were a series of controversies but all have been ended.

The schedule might be announced within the next one to two days, if not on Saturday, July 26, itself, as BCCI, the designated host of the Asia Cup, is working on the final draft of the schedule.

After the recent ACC meeting in Dhaka, marked by controversy and tensions stemming from the strained diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh, it was just a matter of time before the announcement was made.

The full schedule and programme are expected to be released in phases, on Saturday, July 26 and then the remainder might follow on Monday, unless it is unveiled in one go over the weekend.

There may be minor adjustments, but the overall window is all set to remain unchanged, spanning the second and third weeks of September.

India and Pakistan are expected to be placed in the same group, setting the stage for up to three high-stakes encounters between the arch-rivals, first in the league stage, then in the Super 4s and once more in the final.
