Rishabh Pant Breaks MS Dhoni’s Record Of Most 100s By Indian Wicketkeeper In Tests

Rishabh Pant entered his name in the history books on Saturday (June 21) by breaking Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s record of most centuries in Test cricket by an Indian wicketkeeper-batter. Dhoni played 90 Tests for India from 2005 to 2014 and scored six centuries, whereas Pant, who is playing his 44th Test for India these days against England in Leeds, has seven centuries to his name in the five-day format of the game.

Pant, who made his Test debut for India against England in Nottingham on August 12, 2018, has scored three of his seven centuries against England in England.

The 27-year-old wicketkeeper-batter crossed the 100-run mark with a six on the 146th ball of his innings and has hammered 10 fours and four sixes so far.
