Mitchell Marsh hits maiden IPL hundred, first overseas centurion in 2025 season

Mitchell Marsh on Thursday scored his maiden century in the Indian Premier League during the match between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad.

The 33-year-old reached crossed the mark in 56 deliveries with the help of 10 fours and six maximums. He was also the first overseas batter to reach 100 runs this season. He was eventually nabbed by Arshad Khan on 117 runs.

Marsh becomes the 11th Australian batter to register a three-digit score in the tournament. Interestingly, his brother Shaun Marsh was the first Australian to score a ton in the IPL.

The LSG batter has been in a rich vein of form this season, crossing the 500-run season tally for the first time. He also has six fifty-plus totals this season.
