As Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) much anticipated audit report draft has come out (to be precisely – leaked deliberately), it has, expectedly, opened a cane of warms. With 88 pages report draft is in public domain, it has created a havoc in Sri Lanka Cricket – general public is more than convinced now that Maitland Place Messiahs are robbing cricketers hard earned money, former cricketers are, as usually, silent, Ashela Rekawa is excited and laughing seeing the possibility of some more legal cases coming his way, Mahela Jayawardene has disappeared, some Interim committees people are, even in their late 60s, working day and night to translate the Singhla language audit report draft into English to send it to the ICC. Meanwhile, Shammi Silva, SLC chief, In his usual style, has announced that his administration is ready to resign, if allegations can be proved!

Amid all these, Cricket Age can proudly claim that two of it’s exclusive stories have been prominently highlighted in the audit report – SLC’s Vice President International Cricket Jayantha Dharmadasa’s connection with actors-actresses World Cup joyride and Domestic cricket Incharge Chintaka Edirimane’s fraudulent Australia visit to Inspect supper sopper machines!

On 27th November 2022, Cricket Age had exclusively published that Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Incompetent Vice President Jayantha Dharmadasa has kept his track record Intact of inviting actors and actresses to watch the matches during the ongoing Afghanistan ODI series as well. The report stated that while Dasun Shanka led Sri Lanka were trying to salvage the pride and keep the series alive in Pallekele following an unexpected but humiliating defeat in the first match, Dharmadasa was once again seen enjoying the company of actors and actresses. The worst part is that, on his Instructions, Official Broadcasters of the match were also showing Dharmadasa and his gang on camera, Instead of focusing on the match! In the first match also, Dharmadasa invited actors and actresses to Corporate Box to enjoy the privilege. It irked Cricket loving fans also and some of them questioned Dharmadasa for his selfish act, asking Instead of celebrities, why general public can’t get a chance to secure Corporate Box tickets through a transparent sell!

The report had also exclusively stated that Dharmadasa, a show off businessman, had accompanied by actors and actresses during recently concluded T20 World Cup in Australia as well.

Now, after audit report made public, Dharmadasa is facing accusations of recommending a visa for actress Shalaini Tharaka and another person identified as A. S. Edirisinhe!

Then, on 23rd March 2023, Cricket Age had exclusively published that Chinthaka Edirimane, head of domestic cricket at Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), has come under the scanner for allegedly producing a suspicious report to Government Auditors over his Australia visit.

The report further stated that On Country’s Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe’s request, the government auditors team is conducting a comprehensive audit on the findings of the six member committee that investigated the alleged misconduct by the players, Board officials and associates during the last T20 World Cup in Australia in November.

The report had highlighted that Edirimane, one of most Incompetent and worst board employee, was also summoned by the government auditors to Inquire about his Australia visit during the T20 World Cup, suspecting he, in reality, went there to see his daughter. In the story it was highlighted that government auditors suspects the authenticity of the report, which was submitted by him and says that he went to Australia for machinery (super soppers) Inspection. However, it has emerged that no such company even exists!

“The auditors are unable to understand that as Head of domestic cricket, what qualifications Edirimane has to inspect machinery? Also, why he went there, when a technical person need to go to inspect? Thus it seems that the report, he has produced, is fabricated” a well placed source had told Cricket Age back then.

Now, the audit report mentions that Edirimane has no expertise in this area to examine Supper Sopper machines!

Now, after audit report being leaked, entire Sri Lanka Cricket fraternity is talking about these two stories, which were not published anywhere else in the world, not even in Sri Lanka, exept for Cricket Age, back then,
