Chinthaka Edirimane, head of domestic cricket at Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), has come under the scanner for allegedly producing a suspicious report to Government Auditors over his Australia visit, Cricket Age Exclusively learns.

On Country’s Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe’s request, the government auditors team is conducting a comprehensive audit on the findings of the six member committee that investigated the alleged misconduct by the players, Board officials and associates during the last T20 World Cup in Australia in November.

According to sources, Edirimane, one of most Incompetent and worst board employee, was also summoned by the government auditors to Inquire about his Australia visit during the T20 World Cup, suspecting he, in reality, went there to see his daughter.

Cricket Age understands that government auditors suspects the authenticity of the report, which was submitted by him and says that he went to Australia for machinery (super soppers) Inspection. However, it has emerged that no such company even exists!

“The auditors are unable to understand that as Head of domestic cricket, what qualifications Edirimane has to inspect machinery? Also, why he went there, when a technical person need to go to inspect? Thus it seems that the report, he has produced, is fabricated” a well placed source told Cricket Age.
