Written by Sumit Seth

By each passing day, more and more explosive facts are coming out of CCTV footage deleting scam by Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) head of administration Aruna De Silva.

Yesterday, Cricket Age had exposed that Aruna De Silva has secretly deleted five days CCTV footage of SLC head office at Maitland place on the instructions of one of the top official. Cricket Age also exposed that one security official was also involved in this mysterious scam, that has put the functioning of SLC in question.

Now, it has learnt that not five, but a total of six days CCTV footage has been deleted by Aruna De Silva.

Moreover, now it has emerged that SLC Security assistant Kanishka detected this scam first and he immediately informed CEO Ashley De Silva about this. However, as usually, when Ashley didn’t show any interest on this, Kanishka informed board secretary Mohan De Silva. According to sources, first Mohan De Silva tried to put blame on one of his rival (a former administrator), but when even his SLC colleagues rejected his baseless theory, he informed about this to SLC Security officer Roshan Gunathilike.

It has also emerged that Mohan De Silva lodged a complain to CID as well. However, later he tried to withdrew the complain, but was denied it.

Also, Aruna De Silva, who is fast becoming more and more controversial with his Punchi Borella centric approach while running the SLC as head of administration, has confessed to one of the top administrator, that he deleted CCTV footage.
