In a tragic incident, former Peterite and junior Sri Lanka cricketer Akshu has been in critical condition after being hit by a train this morning while he was doing physical fitness training at mount-lavinia.
Akshu is currently in the ICU at the General Hospital in Colombo.
A right-hand batsman and right arm off break bowler, Akshu plays for Ragama CC.
