Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) Controversial CEO Ashley De Silva has been summoned by CID on Thursday, Cricket Age reliably learns. SLC COO Jerome Jayarathne has also been told to come along with Ashley to give the statement on South Africa tour missing money.

On October 2, Cricket Age had published that SLC has not received a 15% payout fee for the recently concluded South Africa Series even though it has been paid by the channel.

“Although the amount has been paid by Sony, it has not been received in the account of SLC” a board official had told Cricket Age on Tuesday.

Battling with corruption charges and financial irregularities, SLC, on Tuesday, announced that the Ernst and Young (E & Y) will commence a special audit pertaining to Media Broadcasting Rights and Receipts and Payments conducted by the board during the year 2013 to 2018 period.

The initiative was taken by the SLC, following the instructions of the Minister of Sports Faiszer Musthapa.

Ernst and Young will commence the audit process on the 03rd October, 2018.
