Following the full stop on their scheduled India Trip for the ongoing World Cup with half a dozen Executive Committee (ExCo) members, some of the top officials of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) have flee to Australia for Holidays and other commitments, Cricket Age reliably learns.

The Board had obtained permission from the Sports Ministry for at least 6 officials to travel to India for the ICC event. However, Ministry termed it unnecessary and allowed only SLC President Shammi Silva and CEO Ashley de Silva, that too only for attending ICC meetings.

According to the sources, following the development, Board powerful Vice President domestic Cricket Ravin Wickramaratne and Secretary Mohan de Silva have gone to Australia. Mohan de Silva, in particular, anyway trying for a PR in Australia, thus spends most of time there.

As far as Cricket is concerned, Sri Lanka, with single win in four matches so far, are on the brink of first round elimination, if Kusal Mendis team fails to win remaining five matches! The domestic cricket, as always, remains in shambles, as the 3-day tournament has been postponed due to suspicious reasons!
