Shashank Manohar, the Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) arrived in Sri Lanka last night, following an invitation made by Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC).
SLC President Shammi Silva, vice president Ravin Wickramaratne and secratary Mohan De Silva also met Shashank, before his today’s meeting with country’s Prime Minister Ranil Wickramsinghe. Sri Lanka’s Sports Minister Harin Fernando, who met Shashank on India at the start of the month, will also be presented during the meeting.
Shashank is expected to discuss the current situation of Sri Lanka Cricket with prime minister duringhis meeting. In his four days official stay in Sri Lanka, Shashank is expected to watch the ongoing second test between Sri Lanka and New Zealand as well.
