Faizer Mustapha, Sri Lanka Sports Minister and person of the month, is all set to meet International Cricket Council (ICC) In Dubai Today, as he has took Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) under his Control.

However, things are not that much simple!

According to sources, Mustapha Is not that much willing to either Appoint an interim committee or Conduct election any time soon.

The hassle-arranged meeting with the ICC also gives same kind of impression.

According to sources, In both the situations (Delaying of the Election and Not appointing an interim committee) it Will help only former president Thilanga Sumathipala.

If there will be no interim committee, then Sumathipala can directly control the SLC from his Borella House. And, he also won’t prefer election anytime soon, as there is a court case going on against him.

Another surprising thing is that what prompted Mustapha to meet ICC. According to worldwide Sports governing bodies structure, Organisations like IOC, FIFA Doesn’t allows government influence and Interference.

So, How Mustapha went to Dubai to meet ICC? Was SLC Incompetent CEO Ashley De Silva for the ideal person to brief the ICC About the current status?
