As the grand Political Drama of Sri Lanka has come to an end on Wednesday, The UNP has decided to bring the No Faith Motion Against Thilanga Sumathipala to remove him as the deputy speaker of the parliament, Cricket Age reliably learns.

Right After the Outcome of the local elections in February this year, Sumathipala was lobbying and making strategies against Country’s Prime Minister Ranil Wickramsinghe, along with his closest friend Dayasiri Jayasekara, the Sports Minister of Sri Lanka.

The Ranil Wickramsinghe Camp believes that It was Sumathipala and Dayasiri, who made all the strategies and plotted everything against Prime Minister in the No Confidence Saga as well.

It was completely unethical, because as a deputy speaker of the parliament, he must have unbiased and must have treated all the parties in the same manner, as Honorable speaker Karu Jayasuriya did. That’s why, After emerged as a winner in No Confidence on Wednesday, The Ranil Wickramsinghe Camp thinks it’s time to take action against the Sumathipala.

“UNF will move a No faith motion against deputy speaker Thilanga Sumathipala, who has acted in a capricious, arbitary and unfair manner without acting independently in the current no faith motion….we will do this in the next parlimentary session” UNP Minister Navin Disanayake told after the No Confidence Saga.

Navin Disanayake, a close associate of Prime Minister, has himself served the country as the Sports Minister. Known for his no-nonsense approach, he himself might be appointed as the new Sports Minister.
