At ICC, only the Money matters. Especially in the 21st Century, ICC has become fully dependent on Top three Cricket playing nations India, Australia and England, in order to survive. No surprise, nowadays, every ICC tournament being hosted by these three countries.
The same ICC showed his double standard once again before the first ODI between India and Sri Lanka.

Well known Sri Lanka commentator Roshan Abeysinghe posted against this baised news of ICC on his social sites.
“This post surprises me! I don’t mind they looking at probabilities about what could happen if India wins 3 nil. But how can they say about winning the 1st game! How can the ICC ever come up with such a post!” he wrote.
Simply, it was unethical to prefer one country as the winner, even before the start of the match.
The ICC posted this news on its website on December 9, a day prior to the first ODI. However, it was Sri Lanka, who stunned team India at Dharamsala and took the 1-0 lead I’m three match series.
