Under the Administration of Thilanga Sumathipala, domestic cricket has been struggling to survive. After the ten month of drama, finally U23 tournament has kicked off today.

However, the responsibe administrator are on overseas trips. It has learnt that K. Mathivanan, SLC Vice President and incharge of domestic cricket, is in Australia, for some unknown reason. Chintaka Edirimana, head of domestic Cricket and Chintaka Jayalath, domestic Cricket tournament coordinator, are currently in Bangkok.

It has also learnt that instead of focusing on much important domestic tournament, Chintaka Edirimana mysteriously organized Sri Lanka Women’s development tour to Bangkok at the same time. The team that went to Bangkok, has already lost two matches, while third match will be played on tomorrow.
