Dilruwan Perera Scythes Through Pakistan

While everyone was expecting Rangana Herath to repeat the heroics of first test in Dubai test as well, it was Sri Lanka silent warrior Dilruwan Perera, who stole the show on the fourth day of the match, as he effectively put his team on the brink of a historical 2-0 win against Pakistan.

Chasing a target of 317 was never going to be easy for Pakistani batsmen.

But they shown early resistance, when Shan Masood and Harris Sohail dragged their way to 49 in 30 overs. It was evident, they just wanted to drag the match as long as possible.

But, as soon as Perera beaten Harris Sohail, and Dickwela did no mistake to take the catch, Pakistan quickly stumbled! 3-49 became 5-52 in space of two overs, as Perera sent back Babar Azam and Shan Masood as well.

At dinner, with Pakistan still needing 255 runs with only five wickets in hand, Sri Lanka were almost made sure They are going to win the series 2-0, as Dilruwan Perera Scythes Through Pakistan, in space of two overs.
