Sri Lanka team suffered another big blow, as stand-in captain Chamara Kapugedera has been ruled out of the fourth ODI with after he aggravated a back injury.
As per reports Kapugedera had been nursing a stiff back before the third ODI, but he played with pain.
it puts Sri Lanka cricket in a status of crisis again, as regular captain Upul Tharanga has already been serving a two match ban.
Kapugedera was appointed captain in place of Upul Tharanga for the third and fourth match. Sri Lanka cricket is yet to announce a replacement for Kapugedera to play the remaining ODI’s against India in Thursday and September 3.
