Written by Vipin Darwade

Sri Lanka cricket fans says enough is enough, as their team faced another heavy defeat in the first ODI against India, and decided to protest and raised their voice, after the match finished at Dambula, yesterday.

Around 100 fans gathered in front of stadium’s gate, as the team was about to leave. But, angry fans didn’t allow the team bus to move, as they were continuesly chanting “bring back our team” “bring back our brand of Cricket”.

Fans lined in the front of SLC office, and raised their concern. Surprisingly, they were more critical to Thilanga Sumathipala than the team, as they chanted his name more frequently.

Sources tells Cricket Age that SLC had to call riot police to handle the situation and only after half and hour, the Sri Lanka team bus could able to move for the hotel.
