With the win, Sri Lanka inters into a new era, under Chandimal captaincy

Angelo Mathews stepped down, Dinesh Chandimal came to the fore as his successor, Sri Lanka played the fourth innings on a Turner, still they won the only test against Zimbabwe, after being defeated in the ODI series 3-2. Undoubtedly, It is the new beginning for a team, who has continuesly been searching for the leader to follow. It seems, finally, they found it,  in Dinesh Chandimal!

When Zimbabwe arrived, no one was willing to give them a shot. After the tour finished, they have ODI teophy. And, in the feet last day of the series, Sri Lanka have found their self belief and ‘not giving up till very last’ spirit !

It was fifth day pitch, their overnight batsmen returned to dressing room within the first hour, but they found some new heroes. Aselea Gunaratne, in his short career so far, has proved that he can pull off miracles in any format!.

This is the kind of win, they were looking for. This could be a new beginning for Sri Lanka, under the captaincy of Dinesh Chandimal.
