Just last month, Sri Lanka dashing opener Niroshan Dickwela got banned from ICC, for two shorter format matches, during the second t20 match against Australia, as Dickwela found guilty of shaking his head after given out. but, the same ICC has decided to take no action against Australian captain Steve Smith, even after he thrown all the rules of Cricket into dustbin, during his dressing room incident.

ICC has released the statement, saying that no action will be taken against Steven Smith and Virat Kohli after their incident in the second Test of the four match Test series between India and Australia at Bangalore.

The statement quoted, “The ICC has confirmed that no charges have been laid against any player under the ICC Code of Conduct following the second Test match between India and Australia in Bengaluru. Specifically in relation to Steve Smith and Virat Kohli, the ICC has considered both incidents in the context of this match and concluded it will be taking no further action against either player.”
