BCCI Releases Schedule For 2nd Half Of IPL

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday (March 26) announced the schedule for the second phase of IPL 2026. A total of 12 venues in India will host 50 matches from April 13 to May 24. As per the BCCI release, the matches in the second phase will be held in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dharamsala, Raipur and New Chandigarh.

The first match of the second phase of IPL 2026 will be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

The second phase of IPL 2026 will feature eight double-headers, with afternoon matches starting at 03:30 PM IST and evening matches commencing at 07:30 PM IST.

2025 IPL losing finalists Punjab Kings will play their four home matches in New Chandigarh and three at HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala, whereas Riyan Parag-led Rajasthan Royals will play their four home games in Jaipur after hosting the first three home matches at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati in the first phase.

Meanwhile, defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play five home matches in Bengaluru (three in the 2nd phase) and two in Raipur.

The venues for the playoffs will be announced at a later date.
