Bangladesh batter Litton Das said that he will try to up his game and work on his mental strength during the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Litton is one of the three Bangladeshi players along with Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman to be a part of the upcoming IPL edition.

Litton went unsold initially, but Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) picked him in the accelerated auction at his base price of INR 50 lakhs. In fact, the Dinajpur-born Litton joined his national skipper Shakib Al Hasan for the Knight Riders.

“The IPL is a huge platform and you get to play high-intensity games. Sharing the dressing room with some of the big names in world cricket will help me immensely, because the more you get to know them, the better it is for you to pick their brains and learn a thing or two.

“Once you interact with them, it will help me better my game and boost my mental strength,” Litton was quoted as saying in an exclusive interview with Sportstar.

Earlier this year, Litton broke Mushfiqur Rahim’s record of most runs by a Bangladeshi batter in a calendar year. Recently, he also played a fighting knock in the second innings of the Dhaka Test against India at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
