Once prestigious Galle Cricket Club (GCC) head coach Anil Reediegamanagedra and manager Sudath Ananda Weerasinghe have been accused of taking bribe from unqualified domestic players to play them in the upcoming 3 day domestic tournament, Cricket Age reliably learns.

Anil Reediegamanagedra, the Incompetent coch, was appointed by Cricket Advisory Committee backed by now discarded club president Kumar Samarasinghe, Nihal Darmasiri, Shanth da Silva and Chithral Abawatha. None of them have played even first class cricket and have only school cricket experience, that too 40 years ago.

According to sources, coach Anil Reediegamanagedra and Manager Weerasinghe, along with Ravishka Wijesiri, took 1 million bribe from some of the players to play them in the upcoming domestic 3-day tournament to ensure their qualification for Australian domestic cricket participation!

“Some of the players they have picked by taking bribe, have not played any competitive cricket. On the other hand, many deserving, talented players have been deprived by the coach and manager” a source, close to the development, told Cricket Age.
