Written by Rohit Pawar

Former First Class cricketer and current controversial venue manager of Galle Cricket Club (GCC) Harsha Munasinghe has been accused of continuously using Galle Ground Indoor Net, even as an Inquiry going on against him in the same matter at Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), Cricket Age reliably learns.

“Every Saturday and Sunday, he is using Galle Ground Indoor Net for his Academy practice, that too without paying for it. An inquiry in the same matter is still going on at SLC, but he has not stopped it even then” a club Insider told Cricket Age.

Earlier, Cricket Age had published thatMunasinghe, who played 16 First Class games, has joined former “tainted” curator Jayananda Warnaweera’s camp, which also consists of Galle CC’s sacked vice president Shantilal Abeygunawardana and Nihal Hettiarachchi.

In another big development, some unknown peoples have been accused of selling Australia’s Galle test tickets.

Cricket Age understands that to keep utmost transparency, through a safe procedure the SLC sends tickets to Galle CC president and General secretary only.
