Lucknow Super Giants all-rounder Krunal Pandya is relishing his time with the KL Rahul-led side after six eventful seasons with Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League as he said that the excitement before every training session with LSG makes him feel like he is playing his first season at IPL.

Krunal Pandya finished his spell with figures of 2 for 27 as LSG registered their second win of IPL 2022. LSG defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 12 runs in an exciting match in Mumbai. Krunal Pandya dismissed Aiden Markram to set SRH back again before Nicholas Pooran joined Tripathi in the middle. Sunrisers Hyderabad slipped into further trouble when Tripathi fell to Krunal.

“Feels great when you win and when you’re contributing. I’m loving it (the new franchise), I had a great run with the Mumbai Indians, had some great memories every there,” Krunal Pandya said at the post-match presentation ceremony.

“I feel like this is the first season of my IPL, that’s the excitement I have before every game or going to every practice session. Not at all (missing Hardik?). The brand of cricket we are playing is heartening to see, the self belief is exceptional,” he further said.

“Focus is always on how we can get better as a team, if we are on that path, we will some good results going forward as well. I worked on my action to get some bounce and turn and just want to continue doing that,” Krunal signed off.

KL Rahul top-scored with 68, Deepak Hooda smashed 51 off 33 balls while Avesh Khan picked 4 for 24 as Lucknow Super Giants romped home to their second win in IPL 2022.
