Ashley De Silva Allows 5.5 Million Dollars Attempted Fraud Suspects To Enter SLC

Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) CEO Ashley De Silva is trying to hoodwink Sports Minister Faizer Mustapha and cricket loving public by maintain double standard. Even though, he is trying to take credit of exposing the attempted fraud, today, he has instructed SLC security guards to allow that suspect employee to enter into the headquarter, Cricket Age reliably learns.

The suspected employee of the SLC Finance division, who attempted to abduct this money by transferring it to offshore account, had written a fake resolution to SONY. In the letter, written on SLC letter head, he stated that SLC has done interim arrangements to operate few Hongkong accounts and thus he requested to deposit the money on those accounts for interim period.

SLC have claimed to suspend that suspect employee from immediate effect, however the reality is that no such action has been taken and only finance division room has been sealed. Yesterday, a lady accountant assistant came to the SLC and seated entire day into HR department.

According to sources, Ashley De Silva has received all the email, documents evidences. However, he has not handed over to FCID as yet.

It has also learnt that that suspect employee has threatened Ashley De Silva and COO Jerome Jayarathne to reinstated him immediately, otherwise he would disclose all the wrongdoings of them and previous committee.
