Nishantha Ranatunga, the former Secretary Of Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) opposed Present president Thilanga Sumathipala during the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held On Saturday, Cricket Age Learns.
Nishantha, who is believed to be contest in the SLC Election against Sumathipala on May 31, was the only Representative amongst all the club members, who raised the questions.
“He raised questions over proposed amendments of the SLC constitution and said that as club owner, he didn’t get the Amendments of the resolution” A Club Official, who was present at EGM, told Cricket Age.
During the EGM, A Five-member Elections Committee being appointed to conduct Sri Lanka Cricket elections to be held on 31 May.
