Following Ravindra Jadeja’s bloopers, MS Dhoni blasts fielders for Poor Show

Ravindra Jadeja has always been regarded as one of the best fielder in the world cricket. Unfortunately for CSK, the 29-year-old wasn’t at his best in the field against Kolkata Knight Riders on Thursday and MS Dhoni seemed particularly miffed about the same after his team’s defeat.

Expressing his dissatisfaction, more at the way his team handled the situation on-field than the defeat, the Super Kings captain said, “But what is more disappointing (than the defeat) is guys are not aware on the field. Your speed might not be too much but you have to be attentive in the field.”

Dhoni also gave a fine example of fielding as he mentioned former Chennai player Michael Hussey.

“Classic example is Hussey, when he was playing for CSK he was not the quickest but he used to anticipate really well and that used to give him extra second. That is the kind of commitment needed in the field.,” he added.

“If no one is bowling well, keep shuffling bowlers around. If no one does well, game will be over soon. We are slightly on and off in the field,” added Dhoni as he looked particularly miffed with his team’s performance.
