SLC CEO Ashley De Silva Produces False Documents In Court

Written by Rohit Pawar

Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) Controversial CEO Ashley De Silva has reportedly produced false documents to the Honorable Court, in order to escape the hearing of a case against him lodged by a former lady employee of SLC, Cricket Age reliably learns.

It is noteworthy that the former lady employee has been fighting a case against Ashley De Silva. Ashley fired that lady employee on the behalf of SLC, by accusing her for misbehaviour, even though she was contracted with the board for two years.

In response, the lady moved to court and lodged a case against her termination by naming Ashley and SLC.

However, Ashley didn’t appear before the court in two hearings on 27th September and 2nd November by giving lame excuses.

Cricket Age learns that in order to escape court hearing, Ashley produced a false medical report. Also, that report had been falsly made by a lady doctor, and she is the wife of SLC HR Manager Dananjaya Wijesinghe.

Dananjaya’s father Sam Wijesinghe hold a high position in the Parliament.

Ashley, notorious for his mysterious work style, has become worldwide famous, largely due to his comic acts. Few months ago he recalled Sri Lanka national team from the airport, seconds before they were about to depart for India. He also gave a statement few months ago that SLC would change National Team captain’s series by series.
