Written by Rohit Pawar

K. Mathivanan, the vice president of Sri Lanka cricket (SLC) took a firm stance against an unethical proposal by the CEO Ashley De Silva and COO Jerome Jayarathne and saved Millions of SLC’s money, Cricket Age reliably learns.

According to sources, in a good move SLC is paying One Thousand daily allowances to all the employees, who are doing overtime due to ongoing Nidahas trophy.

However, Ashley De Silva and Jerome Jayarathne made another proposal to give additional Three Thousands per day to all the employees. They had made a list of over One Hundred employees and forwarded to Mathivanan for the approval.

More surprisingly, there were many names on the list, who are not contributing at Nidahas trophy at all, and few are not even employees of SLC, like- The driver of SLC assistant secretary Ravin Wickramaratne and Priyantha Soysa.

K. Mathivanan took a firm stance against the proposal and threw it into dustbin.

For a change, after this incident, true well wishers of Sri Lanka cricket are praising Mathivanan for his brave act!
