Sri Lanka T20 specialist Thikshila De Silva stormed the recently concluded domestic MCA Premier T20 League by amassing 256 runs, thus has put a strong case before selectors for the Upcoming T20I series against India.

For Dimo, he was in destructive form throughout the tournament.
His four consecutive scores in the tournament were 56 from 26 balls, 66 from 33 balls, 71 from 36 balls and 63 from 19 balls. He was not only the consistent, but also made his runs with a sky-high strike rate of 203 in the four matches of the tournament. In final, against Mas Unichela, he demolished bowlers and smashed them to all corners of the ground, as he made 63 runs in just 19 balls, including 7 towering sixes. In the four matches, he smashed 20 sixes and yet again showed his six-hitting abilities.

A dashing strokemaker, who balls right arm medium fast and bats left-handed, Thikshila made his T20I Debut against South Africa earlier this year.

A strongly built batting allrounder, he has been regarded as one the biggest six hitter in Sri Lanka domestic circuit. A handy bowler too, Thikshila has re-announced himself with these brutal knocks and it will be difficult for the national selectors to ignore his performance, when they will sit to finalize the squad for the upcoming T20I series against India.
