The controversial Vice-President of SLC K. Mathivanan is disobeying President Thilanga Sumathipala orders, in a bid to protect his wrongdoings, Cricket Age reliably learns.

According to sources, last week Sumathipala had recommended that Aruna De Silva to be appointed Head of Administration by terminating the present Manager Administration.

It has also learnt that Aruna De Silva has done great service for SLC since last four months and operations Manager and Sumathipala was very impressed with his commitment.

However Mathivanan rebuked the recommendation and stood firm against him. Reason behind this is that, Initially Aruna opposeed Mathivanan initiatives and was very vocal at Meetings.

Now, Mathivanan is trying every trick to block Aruna way of becoming Head of Administration.

It has also learnt that after the controversial Panadura-Kalutara match fixing saga, Mathivanan has been thrown into wilderness.

The year has almost gone, but the fate of Domestic tournament is still unclear. Almost all the domestic players have migrated to Australia to play league cricket, but Mathivanan, who is also the incharge of domestic cricket, is still day dreaming!
