Sri Lanka Players should be allowed to make up their minds, says Sangakkara regarding the ongoing confusion over playing t20 match in Lahore.

“It’s is a decision of the individual players in the Sri Lankan side. There has to be an open dialogue between the PCB, the Sri Lankan Cricket Board, the ICC and of course the federation of international cricket association (FICA)” said Sangakkara in a interview to Sports Star.

“They should come together and there should be transparency in all the information provided to the respective teams, the respective officials and of course to the family of the teams, so they all could take a decision” added Sangakkara.

To put all the rumors and concerns aside, Sri Lanka Cricket Board has decided after the conclusion of ExCo meeting on Monday to send the team to Lahore for the third t20 match, even though top bracket players like Upul Tharanga, Lasith Malinga have rejected to play in the Lahore T20.

As top players have shown their reservations, Allrounder Thisara Perera has tipped to captain the side.

According to sources Dilshan Munaveera, Danushka Gunathilika, Dasun Shanaka, Isuru Udana, Lahiru Gamage, Shehan Jayasuriya, Milinda Siriwardena, Sachith Senanayake, Lakshan Sandakan, Seekuge Prasanna, Wannindu Hasaranga and Niroshan Dickwela have also agreed to play in the series.

The three match series will be starting from 26th October, while the third match will be played on 29th October at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
