‘Find an anti-ageing potion,’ World Cricket hails Vintage Rangana Herath

Rangana Herath six-wicket haul steered Sri Lanka to a thrilling 21-run win over Pakistan in the first Test in Abu Dhabi on Monday. The veteran left-arm spinner became the 14th bowler in all Test cricket and fifth spinner behind his countryman Muttiah Muralitharan, Australia’s Shane Warne and Indian duo of Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh to reach the 400-wicket milestone.

Known Indian Commentator Harsha Bhogle praised Sri Lanka ageless Legend in most unique way on twitter.

“The champion, Rangana Herath. Oh, Sri Lanka, find an anti-ageing potion for him. You need him to win games” wrote Commentator Harsha Bhogle on his Twitter handle.

World Cricket also erupted with glowing tributes to the Sri Lanka lone warrior.

“Rangana Herath has spun another Test win for Sri Lanka. Quite similar to the one against India in Galle. 400 Test wickets too. Legend” wrote former Indian opener Akash Chopra.
