Angelo Mathews to play in third edition of PSL

Sri Lanka allrounder Angelo Mathews is set to play in the third edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Najam Sethi, the chairman of PCB announced today.

“Great News: New top signings for @thePSLt20: JP Duminy, Chris Lynn, Mitchell Johnson, Angelo Mathews, Rashid Khan, Evin Lewis!” Sethi posted on his twitter handle.

The third edition of the famous league is scheduled to be held in February 2018, while the players draft process is scheduled in the second half of October.

The third edition will see six teams competing for the ultimate glory, unlike the earlier seasons when there were only five teams.

Mathews is currently recovering from the hamstring injury, he sustained just before the announcement of Sri Lanka test team for test series against Pakistan in UAE.
