Sri Lanka cricket board has appointed three member panel of ExCo members chaired by Oshara Panditharathne, including Samantha Dodanwela and Channa Weerakkody to consider the appeals of the club’s and report back to ExCo within two weeks.
SLC ExCo has suspended 22 players, including former international Chamara Silva for their alleged role in Pandaura-Kalutara controversial match.
Many players are believed to appeal against the verdict, while Panadura has already announced they will challenge it.
Panadura Captain/Coach Chamara Silva and Kalutara captain Manoj Deshpriya has been handed two years ban for their involvement.
