In a surprising move, Sri Lanka cricket is going to investigate the fixing allegations. SLC will appoint a four-members committee, that will inquire the first match fixing allegations in the island, in 1994.

A Sri Lanka news paper published the news, quoted as saying There were reports that the test match played against India, at Lakhnow, was fixed by 15,000 Dollars.

It has also reported that India’s investigation agency CBI has conducted an investigation and two Sri Lanka legends – Arjuna Ranatunga and Arvinda De’silva implicated in the inquiry report.

Previously, the SLC also tasked a committee, comprising Desmond De’silva, but later abandoned it, due to the lack of avidences.
