The game must go on, it seems the mantra of SLC president Thilanga Sumathipala!
So, just before the first ODI against India at Dambula, SLC staff has been debarred from visiting Dambulla by Sujeewa Godaliya. The operational staff has been informed to be away from Dambulla by Sujeewa who is the Secretary of North Central Province and EXCO member.
Interestingly, This is the stadium, that was built by Mr. Sumathipala within a short time by his very famous architect Surat Wickremasingha and Company. The stadium light were installed for the Australian tour last year with millions spent and surprisingly now the lights system will be upgraded once again, at a further cost of a couple of millions.
This seems to be the order of the day by Thilanga and his money making team!
