According to reliable sources, after the disasterous tour of South Africa, Sri Lanka selectors have decided to bring other deserved players for the three t-20 series against Australia this month. As per sources, Dinesh Chandimal, Kusal Mendis, Dhananjaya De’silva and Suranga Lakmal will be dropped for the series.

Hard hitting middle order batsman Chamara Kapugedera is expected to earn a recall alongwith Sehan Jayasuriya.

29 year old Kapugedera has been one of the cleanest hitter of the cricket ball in Sri Lanka. Add to this, he has played some brisk knocks in Australia in past. sehan jayasuriya, on the other hand, has been in blistering form in ongoing domestic season, having made first double century of his career.

Veteran fast bowler Lasith Malinga is almost certain to make a comeback, as he has fully recovered from the  injury. The three match series will be kicked off on 17th February.
