Doha will host the next round of International Cricket Council (ICC) Board and Committee meetings from March 25 to 27, underscoring Qatar’s growing importance in global cricket and the governing body’s increasing engagement with the sport in the region.
The meetings will bring together ICC Board Directors, Chief Executives, Committee Members and senior leadership as part of the organisation’s ongoing governance calendar. The discussions are expected to cover key matters concerning the present and future of international cricket, including governance, development and strategic priorities.
The decision to stage the meetings in Doha reflects both the ICC’s deepening collaboration with Qatar and the country’s emergence as a promising growth market for the sport. The ICC has been working closely with the Qatar Cricket Association and the Qatar Olympic Committee to expand cricket’s footprint and strengthen grassroots participation.
In the recent past, ICC board meetings have been held in Dubai.
