Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav took to X to share a three-word tweet after India crushed Pakistan by 61 runs in Colombo on Sunday (February 15) to register their third straight win in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Surya, who has now won four T20Is in a row against Pakistan as skipper, shared four images from the India-Pakistan game with the caption ‘Har Har Mahadev’.
The followers of Hinduism are celebrating Maha Shivratri on Sunday and Surya’s tweet mentioning Lord Shiva has set the internet on fire.
“I think this is for India,” Suryakumar said after the match. “But yeah, we played the same brand of cricket what we wanted to play. I told you at the toss as well. I think batting first was a better option on this wicket, and the way Ishan batted – how he was batting in the last few games and also in the domestic circuit – he batted the same way and took the team ahead.”
tar Indian spinner Varun Chakaravarthy also took to Instagram to share a photo post and dedicated India’s victory over Pakistan to all the Indians on the eve of Maha Shivratri.
“Any doubts ?!! Dedicating this victory to all the INDIANS on the eve of MAHA SHIVRATHRI !! HAR HAR MAHADEV!!,” Chakaravarthy captioned the post.
