The second Test match between India and the West Indies will be played from October 10 to 15 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The home team will enter the contest with high confidence after a commanding performance in the opening Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where they secured a resounding innings and 140-run victory.
India began their Test series on a dominant note, outclassing the West Indies in all departments. Ravindra Jadeja emerged as the standout performer with a brilliant unbeaten 104 and a four-wicket haul. After bowling out the visitors for 162, India piled up a mammoth 448/5 declared, powered by centuries from KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, and Jadeja. The Indian bowlers maintained relentless pressure in the second innings, with Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, and Jadeja leading the charge to bowl out the West Indies swiftly. Backed by sharp fielding and spin-friendly conditions, India wrapped up the match inside four days, leaving the visitors with no opportunity to recover.
