Punjab Kings Become First Team To Successfully Chase 200-Plus Totals 10 Times In IPL

Priyansh Arya, Prabhsimran Singh and Shreyas Iyer scored half-centuries on Saturday (April 11) to help Punjab Kings secure their third win of the IPL 2026 season. In the match No. 17 of IPL 2026 played at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a total of 219/6 and PBKS chased down the target of 221 runs in 18.5 overs for the loss of only four wickets. Iyer top-scored for the hosts by playing an unbeaten knock of 69 runs from 33 balls. He hammered 5 fours and 5 sixes after Arya scored 57 runs from 20 balls and Prabhsimran slammed 51 runs from 25 balls.

The successful run chase of 220 runs by PBKS vs SRH in New Chandigarh on Saturday helped PBKS become the first team to chase down 200-plus totals 10 times in the IPL.
